Lara Capuano – Grief and Kindness

Lara Capuano is a gem.

I want to have her back on the show. Heck, I want her to move to STL or maybe I can move to NY. I don’t care, I just want to be around her more and more.

She currently lives in Upstate New York. She and her husband Tom have five kids that range from 4 to 13 years old. They are a lively and colorful group of crazies with a variety of special needs peppered in, just for good measure. 🙂 Lara and Tom are passionate about open-adoption and actively include their son’s birthparents in their lives. She’s a writer/blogger and speaker, and is currently writing a book. Her first devotional is now available and it was written to accompany a kindness movement called #AdamsActs. AdamsActs was launched in memory of Lara’s brother Adam who was shot and killed at age 17. We discuss open adoption, grief, death, sense memory and, of course, 90’s music.

Here’s the video I mentioned at the top of the show.
If you’re like me, you’ll be watching this video over and over and reminiscing about your jr high and high school years!
