Today we are showcasing part 2 of Heather Meadow’s incredible survivor story. When Heather was 7 years old, she and her brother John were in an accident that took John’s life and burned Heather from head to foot. Take time to catch her account in episode 17 if you haven’t already.
In this episode, we talk about an eating disorder that was a coping mechanism for Heather’s survivor’s guilt. She also shares with us the incredible story of how God has been preparing Heather her entire life to become a nurse.
One of my favorite lessons I learned from Heather is to NEVER neglect the time of preparation that God has for us. He has purposed great things in our life and it’s looking back through everything we’ve endured (good and bad) that have equipped us to the place we are meant to be in this very moment.
